Let's have a story time, /x/. I'll start.

A FEW YEARS AGO A MAN WAS WALKING DOWN A ROAD BECAUSE HIS CAR BROKE DOWN AND HE SAW A CAR COMING UP BEHIND HIM SO HE STUCK OUT HIS THUMB TO HITCH HIKE AND THE CAR STOPPED AHEAD OF HIM. HE RAN UP TO THE PASSENGER SIDE AND OPENED THE DOOR. WHEN HE OPENED THE DOOR A SKELETON POPPED OUT!

My hispanic friend has just described a treatment performed on her brother by her grandmother that involved a lot of candles, an egg was broken (maybe over him) and the inside of the egg was revealed to have turned black after being prayed on. This treatment was performed on her brother in an attempt to cure night terrors in some way. She describes her grandma as being of hispanic/spaniard decendency.

Unfortunately my friend can't describe the treatment in too much detail because her brother was about 10 years old when this happened (and she was even younger/may not have even been there when it happened).

Unfortunately, her grandmother will no longer discuss the procedure or any supernatural/practices because she has become a devout christian and renounced that part of her life.

Has anybody here ever heard of such a procedure or is anybody able to help direct me in my research of this or other hispanic magick/medicine?

Any help is much appreciated.

Not sure about the exact procedure, but I'm pretty sure it'll be a ritual in Santeria. Not much to go on, but I hope this starts you off somewhere.

Hi /x/
Sorry if I'm off topic but I really need your help.
I'm trying to find a movie that scared me shitless when I was around 8 years old. Grandma let me watch it... (pic unrelated)

My memories are very fuzzy, I think it was about a horror writer who's books became reality or something. I'll give you guys a few scenes that I remember.

A police man going mad quite early in the movie beating down some innocent guy in an alley.

the lead actor driving (with a girl beside him i think) on a dark road when a guy on a bike appears in front of them, they spotted him too late and hit him quite hard. When the lead actor got out of the car to check on him he just silently stood up and rode away on his bike again (i think his face looked strange).

They stopped at an inn somewhere. the Innkeeper was an old lady, after they drove away again there was a scene where you could see the old innkeeper having her husband chained and out of sight (he might have been chained to her ancle, lying under the counter im not sure).

I think there was another scene wth a girl crawling down some stairs "the exorcist" style but I might be confusing that with another movie.
