I'm surprised I haven't taken over this place as all I talk about is music, starting today I shall!

As you know me, once I find something I get stuck on it for a while. As of now, I've been listening to Dragonforce's new album and it's really fucking good, but, the album that stole me so far this month is this Melodic Death Metal band right out of Finland.

These muthafuckers are called Whispered, interesting name to say the least but man don't let that turn you away from their talent and the music they produce.

This band brings something new and unique to the table, while most melodic Death Metal bands and others close to it do the usual or viking related music, these guys lyrics and play style is heavily influenced by Japanese culture. Their usage of instruments through out their songs is impressive and show their musical talent and drive in what they do. Normally I ain't in growling vocals, but, I gave these guys a chance and I love it.

This was the first track that I checked out, and it displays such great usage of their instruments and is easily considered one of their best tracks on the album.

Tell me what you guys think about them!

Working on my first solo album. Check out the new demo. I use ableton live. Only one full song released so far until the album drops.

The track Circus Circus is on iTunes. I appreciate any support.

I've been listening to this and I do like it, but I've also been told I have a tolerance and taste for repetition in music (might have something to do with being a smoker). Not to say there isn't variety with each song, I can see the genre differences, but each three to four minute session seems to start very similar to the way it ends. It's creative, but I think it could use more WUBWUBWUB! I love dubstep something fierce ;P

overall though I'm thinking I'm going to get some of these on my Ipod, and see what I think with my car stereo system, instead of this laptop. I have a feeling Fabio is better appreciated with a system or atleast a desktop with some halfway decent speakers.

Skrillex - or Sonny Moore, former vocalist for 'From First to Last', I personally think he made an excellent career move with some of his projects.

Skrillex also has an album of remixes, though some people who enjoy electro probably already know him.

I'll make a thread about my favorite, less popular bands another time.

skrillex isnt fucking dubstep, hes more electro.

>> No.197   [Delete]   [Edit]

fair enough, hadn't really thought about it but my mistake. Sometimes I forget about the word electronica when it's where every dubstep fan starts (just guessing ^_^;) as silly as that sounds.
